Massey was born on August 28, 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Angel and Michael Massey. He grew up with his older brother, Christopher Massey, who also became an actor. Massey was interested in acting from a young age and his parents agreed to allow him to pursue the dream.

Career

Massey first appeared on-screen in the 1999 television film, "Selma, Lord, Selma." The same year, he also appeared in the television film "Passing Glory." In 2001, He had a role in an episode of "The Parkers" and then appeared in episodes of "That Was When," "The District," and "Becker," in 2002. His big break came in 2003 when he was cast in the Disney Channel show, "That's So Raven."
